Radius at Donelson

The Radius at Donelson is a 140-unit multi-family development spanning three distinct buildings on Nashville's east side. We partnered with 906 Studio Architects, who served as our client on this project. A key structural challenge involved tailoring each building’s design to uniquely address varying site grades and preferred unit density requirements. The primary structure utilized efficient, cost-effective wood framing with pre-engineered roof and floor trusses. Critical structural solutions included the strategic integration of supplemental steel framing to support large, open amenity spaces on the first level and to create visually striking corner balconies. This project required careful collaboration across the structural, architectural, MEP, and construction disciplines to ensure the successful realization of complex design features and overall project success.
