HHM Office

The new 4-story, 32,000 sf office for HHM in Chattanooga was designed with Riverstreet Architecture and MTa. The steel framed building includes a stunning double-height foyer, cantilevered patio spaces on the second and fourth floors, and an exposed steel entry canopy. The site was formerly an industrial area and the foundry sands required the use of rammed aggregate piers under the foundations. Lateral stability was provided by steel braced frames tucked inside the stair shaft walls to minimize their impact architecturally. Careful collaboration with the architecture and MEP teams ensured the structure balanced the demanding finish requirements and building systems.
